Day6 - next mission & my fate.
“My name is Koya, 18ys old. Couple months ago, got accident and lost my right eye sight but I want to be a pilot”. Then he started to crying.
“Welcome back to this world, Koya. You know what to do now, right? Today is your turning point date. Don’t forget your tears, buddy, ok?”
When I saw his and his dad’s face, they cried together and looked very relieved. That’s right!! Whenever people get a right information, their future will be bright again. Instead of giving negative words, let’s embraced and encourage them. That’s all we need.
On the last day of my presentation, I fully understood why I’m still alive. Thanks Dad and Mom!! Did you see that!!!
「僕の名前はコウヤ、18歳です。前田さんの本を入院中に読みました。私も事故に遭い右目を失明しました。でもパイロットになりたい」そういうと、少年は我慢できず涙を流し始めた。
「コウヤ、よくこの世の中に戻ってきたね。母さんに感謝だぞ、丈夫に産んでもらって。今日は君のターニングポイントだ。俺の話を聞いて何をすればいいかわかったね？」
そう伝えると一緒にいたお父さんと二人は安堵の笑みを浮かべ涙していました。
私の事故から25年目、私と同じ年齢で事故に遭った少年を見つめ「やっと人の命を救える大人になった」と二人の顔を見つめました。事故当時のオヤジも私も彼ら同様にオドオドして不安に駆られていたのでしょうね。
でも正直心から嬉しく夜、私も泣きました。オヤジ、お袋、私達家族の不幸はこうして他人様の幸せに繋がることができました。ありがたい。生きていて本当によかった。
