Day of remembrance

Shinji supported Meito Shodo-Kai Calligraphy Association today for "Day of remembrance" at Cascade Art Museum. The Day of Remembrance commemorates the signing of Executive Order 9066 which began the incarceration of people of Japanese descent during WWII. We thought a lot of peaceful moment together.

大統領令9066号が発令された後の1942年2月下旬から、カリフォルニア州やワシントン州、オレゴン州とアリゾナ州、そして準州のハワイからは一部の日系アメリカ人と日本人移民約120,000人が強制的に完全な立ち退きを命ぜられた歴史を多くの日本人は知りません。今日はカメラマンとしてこの平和の時間を皆様と共に考えました。
