Today was another big day for me again because I was able to take Lucy to AVstar Aircraft for her maintenance. She will be in the shop a while but you will see her again. She did amazing job and protected my life. Thank you very much, Lucy and you deserve it. Today, my copilot flew with me and he asked “Is Lucy ok?”so I said, “She is fine but she needs a little bit longer rest”. And he asked again “can I fly again?” So I said “oh yes!! She will be perfect again!!” It may sound crazy for you but that much she did great job for me while we flew the world.
本日からルーシーはしばらく長期整備に入ります。本当にこの43日間頑張ってくれたと思っていますし、彼女が本気で飛んでくれたおかげで私の命を守ってくれたと言っても過言ではありません。傷だらけの彼女ですがこれから安全を重視して詳細な整備をすることに決めました。今日は久しぶりに長男が搭乗し『ルーシーは大丈夫？』と聞きながら、『また飛べるよね？』と何度も聞いていました。少し出費は出ますが、彼女とはこれからも長い付き合いになるのできちんと整備をしてあげたいと思っています。本当によくできた機体だと感心させられます。
