Mayumi and Les are my friends and they made a special speech event with our very close Boeing friends at Museum of flight today. It was very honor place - Red Barn meeting room. It was where Bill Boeing started his aviation journey. I bet Bill was watching me from sky. It was an absolutely unexpected event towards to end of my presentation because Mayumi & Les gave me a special gift. It was painted by Mr. Steve Cox. I was just shocked and was just thankful to them. Again, thank you for this wonderful gift and friendship!!! Also, Mayumi-san, thank you for taking care of Tsubasa, little wing while I was giving presentation. I was so moved!!
正直、生きて帰って来れるかもわからなかったミッションフライト。出発前、「意味深いこと」をまゆみさんに言っていたようです。 そんなことをすっかり忘れていた僕。まゆみさんはそれをしっかり覚えていてくれて、こんな大きなイベントを企画してくれました。 ボーイング創設者、ビル・ボーイングが一番最初に会社を設立したレッドバーンの事務所（実物ではない）の展示場でプレゼンテーションができたのは、彼の歓迎と祝福を受けたような気もしています。そしてまゆみさんとレスさんから、想定外の絵画の贈呈がありました。 これには本当に感謝、感謝でして、制作に当たってくれた歴史的に残る飛行機を描き続けるスティーブ・コックス氏に手掛けて頂き、これはもう名誉の一言に尽きます。本当に大変であったこのミッション。まゆみさんの旦那さん、レスさんもフライト中、何度もメッセージをくれて僕を励ましてくれていました。心から感謝申し上げます。ありがとうございました。
