Thanks to my mother

Shinji received a Japanese Visa in 2021, 2wks prior to his world mission flight. Since Shinji gave up on Japanese citizenship when he nationalized as a U.S. citizen, he had to obtain a visa to enter Japan. During pandemic, visa was required for all foreign nationals and issued only for people who were recognized to be in special circumstances corresponding to an individual situation such as the need for “humanitarian consideration”. Yap, it was to see his mom who recently passed away due to cancer. We prepared everything before deploying to the world in 2021. We, once again, appreciate all the effort Seattle Consulate General of Japan made for it to happen.
