“One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind…..” this is one of the famous quote in the aerospace industry. While I was giving the presentation last night, I couldn’t stop thinking about this phrase.Who could imagine that I would be on the stage of the Museum of Flight….how would I know that I would be on the stage back in 2002 when I visited this museum with excitement. We always see really interesting phenomenon in our life, regardless positive or negative ways. I was so honored to hear that “Shinji, you will come back again for the real public speech this year” prior to leaving the museum. Thank you for all people who participated last night, even it was late night. I hope my dad was watching me from the sky. Dad, I DID it!! “一人の人間には小さな一歩だが。。。”で始まるアポロ11、アームストロング船長のこの言葉。昨晩の講演時、この言葉が何度も浮かびました。21年前の病室にいたとき、だれがこんなことを想像できただろうか？そして渡米した2002年、3日目に訪れた場所がここシアトル航空博物館で、だれがこんなサプライズを想定できただろうか？博物館スタッフ会議のイベントとして参加したわけだが、博物館館長まで参席され、『飛行機屋冥利』を超えた経験になりました。帰りがけに『シンジ、館長は相当気に入っていたわよ。これで一般公開は決定！！年内に計画するからもっと弾けてね』と担当者の評価と感謝の言葉を頂きました。天国にいるオヤジはこの博物館には来たことはありませんでしたが父、芳雄にささげるプレゼンテーションとなりました。参加していただ皆様、夜遅くまでお付き合いいただきありがとうございました。 #かかってこい #空 #シアトル #museumofflight #シアトル #aerozypanguproject #earthrounder
