After Shinji finished his lecture, a boy said to me, “That was the most moving presentation I’ve ever heard. Thank you very much.” A girl who had taken the time to wait for us to come out of class, even though she had her next class, thanked us, saying, “I’m studying Japanese. Thank you for taking the time to come and see us.” For Shinji, this kind of input is a truly supportive experience.
