For the Future of Mobility

I’ve been quietly preparing something new for the future of mobility. Today was just kickoff meeting with a Japanese company.

As next-generation transportation become a reality, I strongly feel that it’s not just technology we need—but a culture of safety embedded in society.

In aviation, safety has been built over more than 100 years.

In that world, I was able to complete a solo around-the-world mission flight.

But that achievement was not driven by “challenge” alone.

Behind it was an invisible layer of carefully designed safety.

Humans always make mistakes. That’s why safety must be designed with that assumption in mind.

How do we carry this mindset into the future of mobility?

I can’t share everything yet, but we’re steadily shaping it.

Toward a future that is not only exciting—but truly safe.

Moving forward quietly, but with intention.

未来のモビリティ社会に向けて、少しずつですが新しい準備を進めています。

空飛ぶクルマや次世代の移動手段が現実になろうとしている今、技術だけでなく「安全文化」をどう社会に根付かせていくかがとても重要だと感じています。

航空の世界では、100年以上かけて安全が積み上げられてきました。

その中で私自身、単独での世界一周ミッションフライトを実現することができました。

ただ、それは「挑戦」だけで成し遂げられたものではありません。

その背景には、表には見えない“安全設計”の積み重ねがありました。

人は必ず間違える。だからこそ、その前提でどう設計するか。

その考え方を、これからのモビリティにどうつなげていくのか。

まだすべてはお話しできませんが、少しずつ形にしています。

これからの未来が、より安全で、そしてワクワクするものになるように。
