Shinji wanted these Japanese college students to meet a real deal American aviation experience!! Well, today they visited the Kirsten Wind Tunnel at the University of Washington. Look at this size!!! So biiiig!! We had a special presentation of how they’ve been using this facility and technology !!
日本の日常で体験できないことをさせたい！その第二弾が、ワシントン大学の空洞実験設備の見学でした。前田は実を言うと大学4年生の卒業研究で、小型空洞実験装置を使ってグライダーの速度計を作っていた過去があります。当時の装置と比較しても圧倒的な『でかさ』にみんな驚くばかりでした。ただお互いエンジニア同士で議論が深まりました。
