“Shinji-san, my son started to go college from this spring and my son is enjoying the school now. Thank you for all your advice”
In 2023, Shinji was asked about how to survived from the bullying with disability. Shinji immediately noticed that this gentleman’s family was suffering the extreme pain because of bullying at school. Bullying in schools, resulting in the suffering of many children, remains a persistent problem worldwide. Shinji listened carefully his son’s situation and gave one advise - confess the situation as family and listen to your son as his parents because he needs a help. This is very simple step but this is NOT actually simple step at all for Japanese culture.
Recently, Shinji received an email from this gentleman and this is why we put efforts to spread the hopes and dreams.
「前田さん、うちの息子が今年の春学校に行くようになり、本人はとても楽しいと言ってくれています。本当にアドバイスありがとうございました」
ある企業講演後、ある男性が手を挙げ、彼の息子さんの不登校について相談がありました。上司や同僚、部下のいる場所での質問でした。かなりの勇気と覚悟、そして危機感があると前田は直感しました。「この状況をまずは受け入れ、そして息子さんに向き合う。つまりオヤジもお袋も辛いが、お前も辛いよな。でも前に進むための会話をもとう？」と伝えました。簡単なことではない、でも解決できないわけがないと。時間をかけて家族のペースで進めばいいと。
それから数年が経った先日、本当に嬉しいメッセージが来たんです。だからこそ私たちNPOの存在意義があったと思うのです。
