The sky is Not Limited by Age

In the United States, what matters is not age,but preparation and responsibility.
One of my goals this year is to take my own child into the sky and let him learn from real experiences. Today, I flew with my 8-year-old son, Tsubasa, and under my supervision, he handled the radio communication for our landing at Harvey Field.
This was not a game. He understood what he was going to say in advance practiced the exact phraseology and had an adult beside him, fully responsible at all times
It was real learning, designed with safety at its core.
Protecting children does not mean preventing them from doing things. It means letting them experience the real world in the right environment.
That is why, in America, the sky is not limited by age—it is open to those who are willing to learn.
